Lukas Mogge
I am an applied economist working in environmental and development economics. My research studies how households, governments and international and non-governmental organisations in low- and middle-income countries respond to environmental shocks. I combine (quasi-)experimental research designs with household survey, administrative and spatial data. I have conducted fieldwork in Mongolia, Vietnam, and Ghana.
Since 2023, I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research (Berlin Office), where I am part of the research group on “Climate Impacts and Adaptation” and the Policy Lab on “Climate Change, Development and Migration”. I am a J-PAL Invited Researcher and an organising member of the Development Economics Network Berlin (DENeB).
